another curry night at the Masala! So on the 17th November, following the sale of nearly 100 tickets, the great and the good congregated once more at the Masala Indian Restaurant for an evening of conviviality and tasty delights such as curries, kormas, onion bhajis, pickles, poppadoms – my mouth is watering even now. I think on these occasions we can forgive our secretary Pat for not baking one of her wonderful cakes as no one would have had room! The opportunity was also taken to hold a raffle with tremendous prizes such as a unique Fferm Jojo cushion depicting a Court Farm fire place – that should keep the winner warm. Due to the success of the evening the Court Farm coffers have increased by over £500 all of which goes towards the ultimate aim of the Friends of Court Farm undertaking Ground Penetrating Radar to establish what was there in Tudor times.

Merry Christmas all
